On Monday we practiced again the poem "Mon cartable". We listened to it again and students recited the whole poem several times. They also rewrote the poem by replacing words with other words of the same category (colors, food, school objects, animals, family members, etc.). Then students read the new versions aloud and the others had to find which words were replaced. We also worked on the meaning of the poem.
On Wednesday I gave students a copy of the poem again, but words were missing and they had to find the missing words. Then students read to their partner the poem and worked on pronunciation.
